Clear any check boxes for ones you don't want always displayed. What are the different types of formatting marks that can be revealed in a word document? With the help of show or hide tool in Word 2013, you will be able to reveal some of the marks like spaces, hidden text, paragraph symbols, optional hyphens, page breaks, tab characters, etc. Under Show Non-Printing Characters, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide button is turned on or off.
